I bought food from the deli for a picnic, quiche, sausage rolls, stuffed peppers. Fantastic. Enjoyed one of their cooked breakfasts while I was there. Superb.

We were made welcome from first arrival to departure. It has more than a hint of French influence in decor and menu options plus the waitress was keen to adapt plates to suit needs. All cooked full of flavour and nice portions. Good standard lunchtime menu plus a chalkboard full of specials give great choice. Evening we enjoyed three courses of great food in French style. Even speaking in French! Will keep going back.

Highly Recommended.Popped in for breakfast on a Friday. Full Breakfast is excellent. Just the right amount and excellent quality. Light Breakfast is also very good.

Had a lovely evening meal here recently on the last night of our week's holiday in Steyning. Wonderful traditional French cooking, great atmosphere, excellent value for money. An absolute must if you're staying locally, and if you're anywhere in the area Chez Joel is definitely worth a detour!

Perfect with some added drops of kindness!We ate there this evening. I wanted to write a review straight away as we were so impressed. To start, the owners are just wonderful, Sarah is kind and attentive she gives time to you, making sure you know about each dish and their wine variety. The food is divine and so perfectly cooked. They gave us dessert to take home as an extra. Thank you so much.We will be taking the rest of our family next time. :)Sorry no photos taken as we were enjoying the expereicne so much!
